Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train sees huge demand; Tickets sold out within hours of launch India News

Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Train Launch: The newly introduced Vande Bharat Express between Ernakulam and Bengaluru is witnessing huge demand. The train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. This train service marks the third Vande Bharat Express service for Kerala. It will be operated and maintained by Southern Railway (SR).

Tickets that opened for reservations earlier in the day sold out within hours for the next few days. According to the IRCTC ticket booking portal, tickets for train No. 26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat are fully booked, with the CEO car on the waiting list for the next 10 days.

Meanwhile, AC Chair Car tickets were also sold out for 16 November, and on 11 November – the first day of the trade show – fewer than 50 seats remained available (as of 16:39, 8 November).

Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat ticket price

The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train consists of eight coaches. There are two types of seating arrangements: car air conditioner seat and executive air conditioner seat. The ticket price in an AC chair car on Vande Bharat Express between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru is Rs 1,615. For an executive chair car, this works out to Rs 2,980.

Ernakulam Bengaluru Vande Bharat Timings

During its commercial operation, train number 26651 Bangalore-Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 05:10 AM to reach Ernakulam at 13:50 PM. On the return journey, train number 26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will depart Ernakulam at 14:20 to reach KSR Bengaluru at 23:00.

Ernakulam Bengaluru Vande Bharat discontinued

Train No. 26651/26652 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam will run via Coimbatore, Palakkad route. During its journey between Ernakulam and KSR Bengaluru, the Vande Bharat train will stop at seven stations. These are: Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Thrissur.
