The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released a revised schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the year 2026. The updated schedule includes changes to the major subjects, especially Hindi and Sanskrit, with modifications in the dates and timing of the examinations. Candidates can check the revised schedule on the official X handle of UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.
As per the revised notification, UP Board Class 10 Hindi and Primary Hindi exams will now be conducted on February 18, 2026, in the morning session from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Likewise, Class 12 Hindi and General Hindi papers are rescheduled for the same day but in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. The Sanskrit paper for Class 12, which was planned earlier in March, will now be conducted on March 12, 2026, during the same afternoon.

The Council explained that only selected papers were rescheduled, while the rest of the timetable remained unchanged. Students are advised to download the revised date sheet from the official UPMSP website to confirm their timetables and prepare accordingly.
Earlier, UPMSP announced that the 2026 UP Board secondary and intermediate level examinations will be conducted between February 18 and March 12, across over 8,000 examination centers across the state. The board also stated that more than 55,000 students are expected to appear this year in both classes.
