A day before the first ODI, captain KL Rahul in the press conference talked about the team’s new strategy and the batting order of Team India. Meanwhile, he also told about his batting position and at which number he can enter the field to bat.

I will bat there. However, all-rounders like Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar and Nitish Reddy are also present in the team, so the batting order can also be up or down.”

Quoting news agency ANI, when KL Rahul was asked about the team’s playing 11, he said, “It is not yet decided what the final playing 11 will be. However, we have a lot of options and we will see tomorrow what the playing 11 will be.” He also said that we have many excellent all-rounders who will be included in the team.
Rahul also replied regarding the condition of Ranchi pitch. He said the team is currently studying it closely. We expect good wickets and good runs from the pitch.
