IND vs SA 3rd T20I: The 5-match T20 series between India vs South Africa is ongoing. The third match of the series is being played in Dharamshala. Why is Jasprit Bumrah not playing in the third T20?
Regarding why Jasprit Bumrah is not playing in the third T20, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted on Twitter saying, “Jasprit Bumrah has returned home due to some personal reasons. An update on whether he joins the team in the remaining matches of the series or not will be given later.” Let us tell you that in the third T20 match, Harshit Rana has been included in the team in place of Bumrah.
Why is Akshar Patel not playing in the third T20?
Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, BCCI has also given an update on Axar Patel not being included in the team. On Akshar Patel’s unavailability, BCCI said in the post, “Axar Patel is not available for the third T20 due to illness.” Kuldeep Yadav was included in the team in place of Akshar Patel.
South Africa gave a target of 118 runs
In the third T20, India won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first, in response to which the entire South African team was reduced to 117 runs. Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana took 2-2 wickets in the match. Apart from this, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakraborty also took 2 wickets each.
