Abhishek Sharma hit 3 fours and 3 long sixes in his innings. Apart from Abhishek, Tilak Verma also played a good innings for the team. Tilak Verma scored 25 runs. Shubman Gill scored 28 runs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav scored 12 runs. India won the match by scoring 120 runs in 15.5 overs.
Batting first, South Africa could score only 117 runs in the allotted 20 overs. However, South African captain Aiden Markram scored brilliant half-centuries, but could not take the team’s score beyond 117. After Aiden Markram, Donovan Ferreira scored the highest 20 runs for South Africa.
Excellent bowling by Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana
The bowling from India had a great start in the third T20 match. Arshdeep Singh took a wicket in the first over, while Harshit Rana also sent back Quinton de Kock in the first over.
