
Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category on Friday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 318 at 6:05 am, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) Sameer app. The national capital had witnessed a marginal improvement a day earlier, with the AQI dropping to 279 at 7:05 am on Thursday from 302 at the same time on Wednesday.
According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data recorded at 6:05 am on Friday, air quality remained in the “very poor” category in several parts of Delhi.
Nehru Nagar recorded an AQI of 389, followed by Anand Vihar at 382 and R K Puram at 380. Okhla Phase-2 at 373, while Vivek Vihar AQI stood at 364 and Sirifort at 357. The Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium recorded AQI levels of 356 and 355, respectively, while Patparganj stood at 351.
Dwarka Sector-8 registered an AQI of 342, while Jahangirpuri and Rohini recorded 334 each. Pusa and Wazirpur reported AQI levels of 333, Chandni Chowk at 332, and Punjabi Bagh and Ashok Vihar recorded AQI at 327 each. Mundka reported an AQI of 324, followed by Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium at 320 and IHBAS, Dilshad Garden at 319.

Several locations in the national capital recorded AQI at the “poor” level. Aya Nagar recorded an AQI of 299, CRRI Mathura Road 296, and Shadipur 295. Narela stood at 291, DTU at 290, and Lodhi Road at 289.
