In a conversation with Hindi Rush, Delnaaz wondered why nepotism was described as a ‘dangerous’ word, and said that if she had a daughter who wanted to become an actress, she would also try to reach out to Karan Johar, or any of the other directors she has worked with, to make introductions. Speaking about her experience with The Archies and working with Agastya, Delnaaz shared, “They are all very talented kids and everyone got the same treatment. There were many other kids too and they were all very nice.” Apart from the above three actors, the film also starred Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Minda and Dutt.

She further recalled, “After I met Agastya, and shot for a few days, I came back from Mauritius and called Jaya ji. She was so overwhelmed, as if I was feeling it on the phone and she said, ‘I will definitely tell Shweta’. I said, ‘He is a well-bred child.’ I had to do this because he is a good child. The kind of respect, the kind of conversation… the work and dedication.” Delnaz said that anyone who is a star experiences a lot of pressure and can collapse even before their debut. “I feel like they are under more pressure. Describing the practice of comparing newcomers with their parents as “unfair”, Delnaaz asked: “Why are you comparing Khushi to Sridevi? Why can’t you allow her to do that? As a person, as an actor, as an individual. This is a stupid topic.” She also spoke about Abhishek Bachchan, who has been compared to his father, Amitabh Bachchan, since his debut 25 years ago. She said, “I have seen a lot of Abhishek and I feel he is amazing. So why is there any comparison? Because Mr. Bachchan is a very huge star. If you compare anyone to him, they will look small in front of him.”

Agastya will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s film Ikkis.
