Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, who is the son of party chief Lalu Prasad, celebrated his 36th birthday in Patna on Sunday. However, the celebrations quickly turned into chaos after the children smashed his cake, which weighed 36 pounds, in seconds.
In the video shared by Instagram account @comedyculture.in, a group of children can be seen holding the cake and playing with it, while many of them were pushing the cake and throwing it at each other. The video has since gone viral, sparking severe criticism.
“Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders celebrated their leader’s birthday at the party’s state headquarters in Patna, but immediately after the cake was cut, children reportedly rushed towards the table and grabbed parts of the cake,” the accompanying caption read.
“The video shows the children pushing each other and laughing, showing their excitement. Tejashwi Yadav had a private celebration with his family on Saturday night and is said to have cut a cake with them,” he added.

The video sparked a backlash, with one user commenting, “This is what Lalu ji has done for Bihar in the last 15 years.” Another wrote: “Bihar is not afraid of challenges but of these idiots.” “Civil sense in jeans,” a third user responded.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended birthday wishes to Tejashwi Yadav with a picture of them from their electorate Adhikar Yatra. “A very happy birthday to you @yadavtejashwi ji! In the second phase of the state assembly elections, voters in Bihar will exercise their franchise on November 11. The first stage of elections was held on November 6. The results will be announced on November 14.
