Ahead of the second phase of polls in Bihar on November 11, BJP MP and star activist Manoj Tiwari has released another NDA song – “Ee Bihar Ba” – highlighting the key infrastructure projects achieved under the Nitish Kumar government as well as the camaraderie within the alliance in the state, party insiders said. The Bhojpuri singer-actor, who released his song “Haan hum Bihari hain ji” soon after he was chosen as one of the stars of the BJP campaign, is said to have composed the lyrics for the second song based on his experience during the campaign which he started in late October.

A month after being nominated to the Senate by the Aam Aadmi Party, Punjabi industrialist Rajender Gupta on Thursday took oath in Punjabi. Interestingly, while Sat Paul Sharma, the newly elected BJP MP, took oath in the presence of party leaders and Union ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, Gupta did not have anyone from his party supporting him in the Parliament building. The Chairman of Trident Group is also a Padma Shri awardee. After skipping last year’s UN global climate talks, also known as the Conference of the Parties, in Baku, Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav will be in Belem, Brazil, later this month to lead India’s contingent in the second half of the conference. The summit of world leaders has already begun on Thursday, and India is represented by its envoy to Brazil. Yadav, who earlier this year missed crucial UN plastics treaty talks, is all set to lead the Indian delegation at the Brazil conference being held in a region known as the Amazon Gateway.
