Who is Major Ravi?
Major Ravi was a former National Security Guard (NSG) commando, who served with the Indian Army for 20 years before leaving the force to join the film industry. He started out as an actor and played small roles in films like Mammootty Megam, Mohanlal Anthony’s Olympian Adam and Sraddha, as well as Jyothika Tabu’s Sneejeethi and Kamal Haasan’s Alavandan, before moving on to filmmaking. He also singled out Prithviraj and writer Murali Gopi for their alleged mishandling of the film’s themes, which led to an even more intense hate campaign against the actor and director.
