Nottingham Forest coach Sean Dyche expressed his “frustration” due to the missed opportunities in his goalless draw with Sturm Graz in the Europa League.
The Premier League side wasted a golden opportunity to take the lead in the first half when Morgan Gibbs-White saw his penalty kick saved by Oliver Christensen.
Neither team registered a shot on target in the second half but Nicolas Dominguez hit the crossbar at the death meaning both teams earned a point at home.
Daiichi was upset that his team did not capitalize when they were in front but praised their performance in the second away draw in the competition.
“I think especially the first half was dominant, not just with the ball, but also controlling the chances created and the quality of chances,” he told TNT Sports.
“Other than the penalty, which is obviously a great opportunity, but the chances we had from set-pieces, and some of those last moments we didn’t take.
“I was more disappointed not to score a goal because the first half was a very dominant performance with the ball, but also creating good chances.
“There were some really good performances. I came away disappointed overall because I thought we were the stronger team overall.
“And if we take those chances, often the game will open up and you’ll imagine going ahead and scoring again.”

Dyche made seven changes to the side that drew with Manchester United at the weekend in a bid to raise his side’s standard.
The Forest coach praised the home team’s performance and explained why he made changes to his team.
He added: “Players need minutes. They need minutes, and they need to regain their fitness and play matches.
“Credit to them (Sturm Graz), they had to work hard too.
“They stuck to it and the fans stood behind them. So I don’t rule out their role in the match at all.”
