Ind vs SA: It was Hardik Pandya’s night in Ahmedabad as he not only scored the second-fastest T20I fifty by an Indian but also won everyone’s hearts with his gesture towards a cameraman who was injured by a hit.
The all-rounder accidentally injured a cameraman by hitting a flat six and after the match, he looked at his wound in a memorable moment. He not only hugged the cameraman, but also politely apologized to him.
Pandya was also seen helping him apply the ice-pack given by the medical team. This is the moment that has now gone viral.
Pandya was in rhythm from the very first ball
Meanwhile, Pandya was in form from the very first ball, moving forward on the track and playing a shot and sending the ball out of the ground for a six. That was a tremendous shot. There came a time when it seemed that Pandya could break Yuvraj Singh’s record of fastest fifty.
His form ahead of the T20 World Cup will give a lot of belief and confidence in the dressing-room as India look to defend their title. Pandya scored a brilliant 63 runs in 25 balls. His innings included five sixes and five fours. He also made an important 105-run partnership with Tilak Verma, which made all the difference in the end. Pandya will definitely play a big role in the T20 World Cup when India look to defend their title.
