The investigation into the case registered against the director of a company linked to Parth Pawar, son of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, over a deal related to government land at Bobodi in Pune, has been transferred from the Pune City Police to the Economic Offenses Wing.
Praveena Bord, sub-divisional officer of Pune sub-division, filed an FIR at Kadak police station early on Friday, naming nine people, including Digvijay Amarsinh Patil, director of Amadea Enterprises LLP, of which Parth is a partner.
It was alleged in the FIR that between February 12, 2024 and July 1, 2025, Yuel, while discharging his duties as Tahsildar, Pune City, at Mamlidar Kacheri of Shukrawar Peth, misused his powers and conspired with other accused to issue an illegal order of possession of about 13 acres of land at Bobodi, under the State Agriculture Department.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed that the case has been transferred to EOW for further investigation. Police sources said they were investigating the document related to the fraudulent land deal.
The FIR states that Yuel also illegally issued a letter on June 9, 2025 to vacate government land in Koregaon Park.
However, a separate FIR in connection with the Koregaon Park land scam was lodged at Bavdhan police station in Pimpri Chinchwad against Digvijay Patil, Sheetal Tejwani and Ravindra Taru (now suspended sub-registrar) on Thursday.
Patil is accused of fraudulently purchasing around 40 acres of land in Pune’s prime Koregaon Park area, with suspicious waiver of stamp duty amounting to Rs 5.89 crore. Deputy Minister Ajit Pawar said on Friday that the agreement regarding this land deal is cancelled.
