Agartworming Agnivesh Agnivesh Death: A mountain of sorrow has fallen on Vedanta Group Chairman and businessman Anil Agarwal. He lost his only son Agnivesh Aggarwal. On Wednesday, January 7, Agnivesh breathed his last in New York, America. On the demise of his son, Anil Agarwal has shared an emotional post on social media, which is going quite viral.
Agnivesh Aggarwal was 49 years old. The reason for his death was cardiac arrest. Actually, a few days ago, Agnivesh met with an accident while skiing, in which he was seriously injured. He was undergoing treatment and was also recovering. Meanwhile, due to cardiac arrest, Agnivesh said goodbye to this world at the age of just 49.
Anil Aggarwal devastated by son’s demise
They have two children, son Agnivesh Agarwal and daughter Priya Agarwal. Through a post on social media, he told how he was completely heartbroken by the demise of Agnivesh.
Who is Agnivesh Aggarwal?
Agnivesh Aggarwal was born on June 3, 1976 in Patna, Bihar. He completed his studies from Mayo College, Ajmer. After this he joined Vedanta Group and played a big role in many of its companies.
Worked in many positions
Agnivesh Aggarwal served as the non-executive chairman of Hindustan Zinc. After leaving the post in 2019, he joined the board of directors of Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), which was also associated with Vedanta. Agnivesh’s role was very important in taking this company forward.
Apart from this, Agnivesh Aggarwal has also held the post of Director in other subsidiaries of the group including Twin Star International Limited, Sterilite Display Tech. He also founded Fujairah Gold FZC, a UAE based metal refining company.

There is no exact data available on the assets of Agnivesh Aggarwal. Whereas the net worth of father Anil Aggarwal is said to be 3.3 billion dollars (more than Rs 27,000 crore).
Agnivesh Agarwal was married to Pooja Bangur, daughter of Hari Mohan Bangur, managing director of Shree Cement. Pooja belongs to the richest business family of West Bengal.
